You may have noticed this blog has been silent for quite sometime. There are several reasons for that, not all of which I will discuss here. However, suffice it to say that I have been a little off track myself and am now making a determined effort to be back on course.

I have been reading 365 Thank Yous: The Year a Simple Act of Daily Gratitude Changed My Life. I can not recommend this book enough! Finding the fault, pointing fingers at others for our problems (even those we love) is easy. Taking the time to notice and note those things we can truly be thankful for in our live can be difficult. Those things we take for granted and we shouldn’t.

I challenge you to notice the things you have to be thankful for and to take it a step further and acknowledge it to those who are creating a better world for you. Join me! I would love to get a note from you sharing how you are including gratitude in your life.

Here is my challenge to you. Become grateful! And think of who you need to thank. Write the note. Send a note once a day, once a week, or once a month whatever is most comfortable for you. Try it and see the power of two amazing words....THANK YOU!

A few months ago I picked up the most recent Readers Digest (yes, I subscribe) and read a story about one man’s journey into gratitude. John Kralik tells the story of his venture into changing his life by saying thank you. His story has inspired me to invest in his book 365 Thank Yous: The Year a Simple Act of Daily Gratitude Changed My Life (affiliate link).

Reading the book has inspired me to begin my own endeavor into gratitude. While I am not deciding to write a thank you note each day, I am sending a thank you note to someone each week. Fifty-two notes seem far less daunting that Three Hundred and Sixty-Five.

Here is my challenge to you. Become grateful! And think of who you need to thank. Write the note. Send a note once a day, once a week, or once a month whatever is most comfortable for you. Try it and see the power of two amazing words….THANK YOU!
