Act 2 Scene 2

My journey began as an attempt to show wrought iron against a beautiful dusk sky. Soon my journey was over taken by the sight of balconies at night. I was reminded of the most famous of balconies;  the one that is the set for Act 2  Scene 2. “Arise, fair sun, and kill the envious moon, Who is already sick and pale with grief” In the end it was the colors that drew me to the photos I chose to include.

Trip Home

This past weekend, I made the trek home for Mother’s Day. I didn’t have much time to spend with my camera, my mom kept me too busy the entire visit. However, I did steal a few moments before I headed back to Wilmington to shoot a few sights of the homestead.   When my parents finished the house where my mom lives (yes, they built it…and when I say built, I mean they did the work. Not that they hired a contractor) they wanted a weather vane on the house. Their precocious little six year old knew how it should look. It needed to be a dog. Marina Life

I’m a frequent visitor to the marina in Carolina Beach. In the spring and fall I am there every Saturday. This past Saturday, however, I spent some time with a different view of the marina and marina life. I met a group of men who had been scuba diving. They told of bull nose sharks and a variety of underwater adventures. Although they wanted to know why I would take photos of their tanks and not of the ‘handsome group of men’ 🙂 I am fairly certain the fishermen who use these do not call them bobbers, but I also feel confident they serve a similar purpose.
