30 DAYS OF THANKFUL – DAY SIXTEEN: Technology

Technology seems like such a silly thing to be thankful for and yet, I am!

I sometimes think about the changes my grandmother saw in her lifetime.  She was born in 1906 to a West Virginia farming family and died at the age of 94.

It wasn’t until the 1920’s that middle class people in the United States began to be able to afford cars.  It was the 30’s and 40’s when telephones became popular and came to most households.

Today the average person holds more technology in the telephone device most of us carry in our pocket than the whole world had when my grandmother was born.

And I am thankful!
