Elizabethon, TN has this beautiful covered bridge. The Elizabethton Covered Bridge was constructed in 1882. On our recent visit to Tennessee, Jenn asked if we could visit the bridge. Naturally, I took photos.

I found this device to be absolutely fascinating! Up will be available in the US Sunday (November 6th) for $100. A colorful wrist band with built in sensors and a vibration motor, Jawbone Up is designed to track your eating, sleeping and exercise patterns. Up is a tool designed to improve your lifestyle and it is designed to work with the iPhone, iPad or iPod touch via an app that can retrieve the information recorded from the wrist band; strangely via the 3.5mm headset jack. His bed was next to the room’s only window The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back. The men talked for hours on end. They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vacation.. Every afternoon, when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see The rest of the story

I love living near the beach. I love the fall and spring when I spend every Saturday at the Boat Basin in Carolina Beach. I am so excited about an upcoming trip to the mountains I can not stand it!  No doubt you’ll be inundated with mountain (and hopefully leaf) photos soon!
