Today I am thankful for my nephew TW. I love his quirky sense of humor and his approach to life! I am very proud of the man he has become (although I was always proud of the boy he was). I am also thankful for his wife Jenny. It appears to me that she helps to give his life direction and is supportive of him.
My sister was 7 years old when I was born. I don’t know how she felt about having a little sister….but I can guess! I can guess based on the way she has always treated me. As I approach my 50th birthday, my sister is still my fearsome defender. She is the first to call me out on my wrongs, and the first to cheer at the good. Sure, she has spent her life trying to kill me It’s a long long story) but she is also the one who has watched over me for my whole life. So, today I am thankful for my sister. I can’t imagine my life without her.
Today is Thanksgiving! It is impossible to limit to my thankfulness to one thing today… I am just thankful for it ALL!
Today I got to spend the day with my mom. A few years ago it didn’t seem possible I would be saying that for any more Thanksgivings. So, today I am very thankful to be able to spend the day with my mom.
Today we traveled 250 miles to visit friends and family for Thanksgiving. Although we grumbled at the volume of traffic and the waiting for an accident to clear, comparatively, our journey was easy. For the most part we zipped along at 70(ish) mph while listening to music and having the temperatures regulated. We were able to conveniently stop for breaks, snacks and any other needs (even wants).
