Crèche Journey Day 22

Today’s nativity comes from Sierra Leone. When I was in Rotifunk, I saw many such huts often central to villages and used for cooking. An internet search says that these huts are called Palaver Huts (in remote Liberia and Sierra Leone) and are often used for anything that needed arbitration – quarrels, disputes, misunderstandings and negotiations.
Which reminds me that Jesus, the prince of peace, came to be a balm and bring peace. It’s sad so many claiming to be followers are the instruments of division. Let there be peace, y’all!
