It’s Christmas Day and I’m up waaay too late, so you may get two nativities today. This one is made of steel by a local artist and it adorns our door, the one we use. I believe mine is unique, he sells them with a cross in the top, but I requested he make mine with a star. Today’s nativity is an empty gift box that sits among the gifts under our tree each year. This is a representational gift that serves as a reminder that the best gift of Christmas wasn’t purchased by a human and wrapped in colorful paper under the tree.
