I am a twittering fool. I absolutely love the medium. Frequently, when I am blabbering on about twitter, I encounter the blank stares of those who have not yet caught the twitter bug. I must admit my first encounter with twitter ended with a ‘what’s the big deal” response and a six month hiatus. I have previously described the moment my love affair with twitter was solidified forever. What I have yet to share is why my experiences with other businesses on twitter. A few months ago, I was attempting to expedite an order for an item I needed for my business. As is my usual, I mentioned my endeavor on twitter. We all have experts we trust. Whether it is your uncle Joe, a Teacher, a Mentor, or just some person you know through the internet. We all have those people. Hopefully it is a group of people and not just one person. One of my trusted advisors is Chris Brogan. I have been a faithful and dedicated reader of Chris’ Blog for quite some time. I also follow Chris on Twitter. How to become a twitter god

I now have three twitter accounts, one personal account and two business accounts. If I account for overlap of followers, my estimate is that I am reaching somewhere in the neighborhood of 5600 people. I have sent approximately 5343 tweet and read thousands more. I may not be a twitter expert, but I am damn close. Here are my observations in a nutshell. I call them, ‘How to become a twitter god’.

I’ve been a dog lover my entire life. I cannot recall a time before I loved dogs! Growing up my parents believed dogs were outside creatures. As an adult, I do not! My dog is my child, my companion, my confidant and my friend.
