Do you have a goal? Sure you do. It could be simple stuff…like, get out of bed each day. It could be fun stuff like read the stay on target blog everyday. Maybe it’s to find your dream job and live a better life. It doesn’t matter because these six simple steps will help you to achieve your goal! 1. Write it down! It seems to be the catch phrase of goal setting these days. Want to lose weight?  Keep a record of everything that passes your lips. Want to save money? Keep a record of every dime you spend. Record keeping is a useful tool and milestones Are Crucial to reaching a goal. Milestones tell you if your efforts are working. Sometimes I feel like my phone has become more than a tool. It has become an obsession. I play with it constantly! Several years ago, I became a great fan of Napoleon Hill. I am such a fan that I begin my day with an email inspiration from the Napoleon Hill Society. I have adopted many ideas and principals from the writings of Napoleon Hill but none that have served me as well as how I approach my to-do list. Napoleon Hill writes of Ivy Lee; Lee was doing some work for Charles Schwab the head of Bethlehem Steel. Schwab told Lee that the biggest problem he had was making his managers more effective – helping them to better utilize their time.
