There are all kinds of inspirations in the world. There’s the no one believes I can therefore I will. There are those who are just motivated, internally. And there are those of us who struggle to stay on the path. I am the latter! I struggle to keep my health and fitness in the forefront of my mind.
My mother has attempted to browbeat me into submission my whole life (about everything, not just health) but I just do not respond positively to such tactics. On the other hand I am not really susceptible to the cajoling either. However, a new story may (MAY, such a big short word) tip the scale to make me work harder to lose weight…..Weight loss improves memory and concentration.
I am terrified of Alzheimer’s disease! I can think of few things that are as disconcerting to me as the loss of my mental capabilities. According to “Duke University Medical Center professor Murali Doraiswamy, an Alzheimer’s expert who wasn’t involved in this research, says, this is “a pioneering study” because it shows treating obesity might improve memory.”
This just may prove to be the greatest motivation, I encounter.
Onward and upward
