It’s Christmas Day and I’m up waaay too late, so you may get two nativities today. This one is made of steel by a local artist and it adorns our door, the one we use. I believe mine is unique, he sells them with a cross in the top, but I requested he make mine with a star. This nativity is perfect for Christmas Day, the day we celebrate Jesus arrival on earth, because it reminds me that Jesus is always just waiting for us to open the door for him to enter our life. #Day25 #nativitycollector #crèchenerd

Today’s nativity is an empty gift box that sits among the gifts under our tree each year. This is a representational gift that serves as a reminder that the best gift of Christmas wasn’t purchased by a human and wrapped in colorful paper under the tree.
