Every once in a while someone comes into your life and really makes an impact. Today I am thankful for just such a friend, Janet Knott.
Janet has seemingly tireless energy for helping her community. She is always working on some event fundraising for some cause. She’s a mom and a business owner and still she has time to be a great friend.
I love our long discussions on most any topic and that we are able to disagree without being disagreeable.
I absolutely adore Janet’s children! Zach (18) and Olivia (16) are growing into such wonderful adults and give me hope for the future.
A couple of years ago Janet and her husband Rick invited us to their Church, St Paul’s UMC in Carolina Beach. Rick was singing in the Easter Cantata and they knew Jenn (and I) enjoy choral music. What we found was the friendliest Church we have encountered.
Janet inspires me to be a better person and to work harder in and for my community. Today I am thankful for her and that she is a part of my life!
