Crèche Journey – Day 37
Today I celebrate epiphany and the end of our nativity journey (it’s a sad day). In some traditions the days of Christmas began December 26th and go through epiphany, in most they begin the 25th and end the day before epiphany (I suppose, I’m playing both sides ). This lovely nativity quilt is new this season. It came from the Upscale Resale at St Paul’s a few weeks ago, donated by my dear friend Pat. I often talk about the patchwork of friends who make a warm an cozy quilt for life, and this quilt reminds me of the community we build together that loves and supports us, that holds and upholds, that challenges and loves us.
