The first truly empowering word a child learns is ‘no’. It is fun to watch them when they have learned the power of this word. They use it for everything. no no no no no Quickly the cute is gone and adults begin to curb a child’s use of no.
A part of our biology is that we all have a biological clock (and not the baby clock). Biochemical, physiological, and behavioral studies have shown us that the body operates in cycles. This rhythm has come to be known as the “circadian rhythm”
The problem isn’t your goals, or that you will just always be a failure. The problem is that you go about setting your goals the wrong way. Long term goals are great, but what you need are short term goals that put you on the right path toward your long term goals.
I decided to change a bit from my usual topics and talk about happiness today.
