Are you walking through life asking everything imaginable – Are you my God?
Are you walking through life asking everything imaginable – Are you my God?
Yesterday, I attended the Step Up for Soldiers Barbeque Cook-Off in Carolina Beach. It was an amazingly beautiful January day (the high temperatures were in the mid 60’s and the sky was a beautiful Carolina Blue – and if you know me you know that’s not a reference to any tar on heels). I celebrated a birthday last week. Since I am still recovering from surgery the celebrations were far less than the blog title might lead you to believe. I did take a trip (5 minute drive) to see the ocean. I hope you’ll enjoy seeing my photographic record of the event as much as I did shooting them. We were at Fort Fisher and I became enamored with this fence.
I love living near the beach. I love the fall and spring when I spend every Saturday at the Boat Basin in Carolina Beach. I am so excited about an upcoming trip to the mountains I can not stand it! No doubt you’ll be inundated with mountain (and hopefully leaf) photos soon!
It seems like the summer has flown by and I took very little time for my camera. I hope that fall will offer an opportunity to spend more time really relaxing and therefore playing with my camera. Last night I attended a shrimp boil. Although I was without my camera, I did spend some time playing with the various settings on my phones camera. Hope you enjoy the results.
