I suffer from PROCRASTINATION, in an all caps kinda way. Unfortunately, the busier I am, the less I seem to be productive. Here are 8 of my favorite suggestions on how you can make your day more productive. Daily goals. Without a clear focus, it’s too easy to succumb to distractions. Set targets for each day in advance. Decide what you’ll do; then do it. Worst first. To defeat procrastination learn to tackle your most unpleasant task first thing in the morning instead of delaying it until later in the day. This small victory will set the tone for a very productive day. Peak times. Identify your peak cycles of productivity, and schedule your most important tasks for those times. Took the time today to wash my truck. Even in the midst of an epic drought, it still rained within 30 minutes of the wash. My theory is that municipalities need to change their drought theories. Rather than banning car washing during a drought, they should encourage it. By the way, I am testing a new found freedom. The ability to email via my phone and have ti post to my blog. Look for shorted more spontaneous quips as I fill up my nes category, phone it in.

I am not average

My year has come and gone. I’m sad to say that I am not average; I remain above average (one of the few times that statement isn’t a good thing). I am doing better at managing my blood sugar. My feet are not freezing constantly(without the benefit of being cold). According to a recent article in the Greensboro News and Record North Carolina residents are holding steady as compared to the national numbers. The good news: North Carolina is one of a handful of states that hasn’t seen its obesity rate increase in the past three years, according to a new report out Thursday. As spring became summer, time has become a precious commodity. An unfortunate casualty of less disposable time is less time to mosey with my camera 🙁 In the meanderings of my life; however, I did encounter these two very distinct bumper stickers. I believe they each give great insight into the vehicles driver. This shot was taken while stopped at a traffic light. I’ll leave it your Imagination to determine the personalities of the drivers.
