It is easy to point a finger at someone else and blame him or her for our shortcomings.
The reality is that unless you are a small child, you have the freedom of choice to make your own decisions and move forward with your life. Being stymied in the past is only allowing yourself to continue to abdicate responsibility for your present.
It is impossible to rewrite the past. There is simply no way to return to past events and change them or the outcome of those events. Each minute you spend wishing you could is a minute you could be writing your future. Living in regret is a vicious circle. The wasted time spent on regret of yesterday become tomorrow’s regret of wasted time today.
It is time. Time to stop excuses and living in regret. Today is the only day you have to begin living your dream.
