It does not matter what goals you have set. The important part is to have goals and be working toward fulfilling them. Earl Nightingale said “The moment you decide on a goal to work toward, you’re immediately a successful person. 
You’re then in that rare and successful category of people who know where they’re going. Out of every hundred people, you belong to the top five.”
To succeed in any endeavor, you must first invest a generous portion of your time and talents if you expect ever to earn a return on your investment. You have to give before you get. It’s all a matter of attitude.
You will get back what you put into the endeavor. If you give of yourself generously and diligently, you will find success. No matter what your undertaking.
